Enjoy the fun and adventures with Victoria and her friends in these Victoria's Torton Tales children's story books
Jess, our beautiful dog
Date posted: 3rd June 2020
As many of you have seen us on the rally field or at an event with Victoria you would have probably seen our lovely dog, the golden Labrador, Jess, who use to be there with us all the time. Sadly on Friday 29th May Jess passed away.
She was always with us and always pleased to see all of Victoria’s friends who came up and said “Hi”. She is also featured in a couple of the pictures from Victoria’s story books. She’s in “Roser and Tanner Steam Roller Friends” and “Victoria and the Teddy Bear”.
Although it’s a sad time we have many lovely memories of her out with us and Victoria, so we thought we would share a few pictures here of her.
Keep safe everyone x

When I wrote this book I knew I wanted Jess and our cat Percy in one of the pictures and here they are.
Sleeping in the shed.
Here is Jess and Percy in the book "Roser and Tanner Steam Roller Friends".
Watching the cleaning.
Jess always just wanted to be with us so she would quite happily sit for hours and watch Victoria being cleaned.
Wearing her steam engine hat.
At a rally in our gazebo where Jess could always be found, and Harry was putting his hat on her.
Making sure we weren't going without her.
Victoria having her picture taken but Jess wants to be in the picture too.
With her friends.
Victoria, Jess and her family and friends.
Victoria and Jess.
Looks as though Victoria is photo bombing this time.
V E day celebrations.
Out in the garden on lock down and Jess joining in the fun, this is one of the last pictures I took of her, I think, well with an engine in the picture.
Jess and her best friend Rosie.
We often looked after Rosie when her family went on holiday but this time we were off to a rally for the weekend so Rosie came along with us, they were so well behaved.
On our drive.
She would often sit here while we worked or cleaned Victoria.
She always wanted to be with us no matter what we were doing.
A visit to a steam rally as often happened, here we were at Beamish and looking around the lovely DG8, Jess decided "It's Ok, I'll lay here and wait for you all."
Can I have my tea.
Waiting for her tea, bless her.
