Mac the Road Locomotive

Mac is a large, very proud, and special type of traction engine called a “Road Locomotive”.

Like The Dreadnought, Mac is a strong and specially designed to pull large trailers with heavy loads on the roads over long distances.

Like most Road Locomotives, Mac has a solid flywheel without spokes, and a roof or canopy over the footplate where the driver and steersperson stand.

Between his front and rear wheels he has extra water tanks hung under his boiler. These are called belly tanks and help him cover longer distances between water fill ups.

Mac’s favourite thing to do

Mac loves working hard pulling large trailers full with the heaviest loads!
