It has been another busy weekend here at VTT, with tractors and steam engines out being played with; it’s all been good fun.
Firstly we got out the 2 old garden tractors we have, these haven’t been out of the shed for years, but Jack and Harry decided it was time to get them out and have a look at them. Jack has had his little Westwood for many years and driven miles around many different rallies over the years. Harry’s little Lawnflite was given to him by his Grandad when he purchased a new tractor, and again Harry has done many miles over the years and even used it to cut the grass when we ran our own rally a few years back. With both tractors out, the boys enjoyed playing with them.
Sunday afternoon was taken up by Lady having her steam test, which of course she passed, and then Wendy and Kev took her out for a lovely little run around the local roads. All went well and both Wendy and Kev had a lovely time with her.
On our Facebook page there is a video of the afternoon on the road taken from up onboard Lady looking back towards the crew on the footplate, please go and check it out.
