Well after a few cancelled events with the rubbish weather, and Lloyd being poorly, we finally manage to get out last weekend. We went to Hollycombe Steam in the Country Museum where they were holding their last Fairground at Night event for 2019, before they close for the season.
So crews were up and out polishing on Saturday morning before fires were put in both Victoria and Lady. Once we had steamed up we headed just a few miles up the road to Hollycombe. After we arrived we got set up in the fairground alongside some other engines, full size and miniatures. Before too long the gates were open and the crowds came flooding in.
It was a great evening and it was so busy! The atmosphere was great with lots of people dressed up in Halloween costumes, children and adults, and they all looked great.
