A little catch up post

We thought we would do a catch up post and a bit of another look back post.

So what have we been up to? Well, Victoria is now put back together, finally her fire bars and ash pan are back on, and she is filled with water, we are looking at maybe even having her steam test done in September!! Not that we have anywhere to go, our last event, that was meant to be the first weekend of October, have just dropped me an email to say that it’s not going ahead, so I think we will look forward to what we hope will be a much better 2021.

The wagon is now looking very smart with its painted chassis, A-frame and steps. Sadly the inside doesn’t look quite so clean and tidy, it’s become a bit of storage for things we haven’t used at rallies this year and it needs a really good clean and tidy. When this hot weather goes away Wendy will have a go at giving it a good old sort out, tidy, clean and maybe even polish the brass!

We have also had a new banner made which we have put up at our office, looking good. Wendy shares her VTT office with her husband who is a web designer and is a specialist in vintage vehicle websites.

This weekend we should have been at The Weald and Downland Museum for their excellent steam event, always a good show and very much enjoyed but thousands of visitors, here are a few pictures of previous years.

Finally, yesterday was the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Wendy and Lloyd. Here at VTT HQ would like to say congrats and we have found this lovely picture of you both with Victoria!! Hope you had a lovely day.
