Great Fun at Balls Cross
Date posted: 4th September 2019
We had such good time at The Balls Cross Rally over the weekend, the weather was great and people came along to join us. The field was full of exhibits from classic and vintage cars, tractors, stationary engines, motorbikes and of course steam engines.
Although this is a smaller steam rally there were still 5 engines there of all different types, Foden Wagon, Fowler Roller, 2 Burrell traction engines and of course Marshall traction engine “Victoria”, who was joined by Colin the Teddy Bear. As we sat, having our tea on Saturday evening, another traction engine turned up, another Marshall, although this one was red. An excellent turn out of exhibits.
It was a great weekend, Victoria again met lots of her old friends and made some new ones. Colin had a great weekend too.
This weekend coming Victoria will once again be on the road and returning to Hampshire, if you see us give us a wave.
Below are a few pictures of the engines that were there.
